UI Reskin and Landing Page Design for Large Pacific-Northwest State

Role: UI/UX Lead, Functional Consultant; 5 months

Client: Integrated Eligibility Exchange for a large state in the Pacific-Northwest.
Objective: Tasked with reskinning a .NET transfer solution and redesigning the solution landing page. An interesting design challenge, in a challenging time-frame, given the ask of introducing the minimal amount of UI rework needed to have maximal impact, while ensuring compliance with the State's brand.


• Served as the SME and point of contact for User Experience. Planned and led large client workshops and more intimate breakout sessions. Owned visual design and deliverable creation. Incorporated client needs/feedback and iteratively reached agreement on changes acceptable to both parties.
• Created a responsive document upload screen, enabling applicants to easily respond to RFI requests using their smartphone, while adding minimal development overhead.
• Guided USI development team in implementation of designs. Defined HTML and CSS changes that would be achievable in production by the SI practice.
• Accomplished goals to great appreciation by Deloitte and State leadership. Given Deloitte Applause Award for commitment and quality output.
